Kabioca invites you into its partner warehouse in Normandy

 

It’s been 4 years since we launched our first range of organic & compostable coffee capsules, and we’ve come a long way since then !

Since the launch of our Nespresso-compatible capsules, over 1 million coffee capsules have already been delivered to our customers, saving the equivalent of over 4 tonnes of aluminum in all. A major achievement that would never have been possible without your support and commitment. We’d like to thank you.

So we’ve decided to welcome you to our Normandy warehouse and show you how an order is processed at Kabioca.

This tour begins in our warehouse. Located in the Eure department, 1 hour north of Paris, Kabioca’s vast 25,000 m² warehouse stores all the Nespresso and Dolce Gusto compatible capsules available for purchase on our website.

 

Processing an order

Once your order has been placed on our website, it is automatically transferred to and processed by our on-site teams, who immediately start preparing your parcel.

You’ll notice that our warehouse is vast: it takes excellent organization and knowledge on the part of our team to locate and retrieve the capsule boxes for your order from among the many packages stored in the warehouse.

Once your products have been retrieved by our team, they are carefully repackaged together in a new parcel, so that they are well protected all the way to your home. But the journey of your Kabioca capsule boxes doesn’t end there. The final step is to transport the package from our warehouse to the delivery point indicated when you placed your order.

All that’s left is for us to go to the nearby post office to drop off all the day’s orders. Colissimo will then deliver your parcel either to your home or to a relay point, depending on the choice you made at the time of purchase. A few days later, you can finally enjoy our delicious coffee.

 

Order processing: reduced ecological impact

 

Kabioca & Colissimo are committed to adopting a strong ecological approach through several upstream actions:

  • Cardboard packaging made from recycled and recyclable paper
  • The use of ecological adhesive rolls made from kraft paper and natural glue
  • Paperless : you won’t find any shipping documents or invoices in your parcel. These are available in electronic format in your online customer account
  • To transport your parcel, our partner Colissimo has adopted a 100% carbon-neutral solution
